We're Back!

 

Welcome to the Sioux City (NEW!) Pre-Intelligencer!

After a few years of well-deserved quietism and expiring cease-and-desist orders, we're happy to announce the re-opening of the Sioux City (NEW!) Pre-Intelligencer!

You will find that we're very different from our previous publication, notably in our name.  We think adding the (NEW!) to our masthead is the best way to communicate this.

We wouldn't be publishing this now, if it weren't for the generosity of our new Owner, Publisher, CEO, and President, Alec Funk! We're happy to be the latest star in his μ-niverse. 

Not content to sit on the sideline, Funk will also be penning the advice column "Uncle Alec."

We're also "pleased as punch" to reassemble as much of our old newsroom staff as possible.  Once again we have to thank our benefactor, Alec Funk.  His knowledge of probation law and H1B visas has been instrumental.

Flain Douglas has been appointed "Editor in Title" and is joined by a number of familiar names and faces on our Newsroom Staff page.

It is with a tear in our eye and an acute understanding of nepotism that we welcome Bogo III as our head of DOGE.  Bogo III is the putative grandson our our original proofreeder, Bogo.

As head of DOGE, Bogo III reports directly to the publisher and is responsible for the correctness of our stories.  Look for his marx marks in the text.
