Joni Ernst Supports Eliminating Women from the Military

 

After casting her vote for Pete Hegseth for Defense Secretary, Iowa Senator Joni Ernst said she agrees that there are too many women in the U. S. Military.

Ernst served in the Iowa Army National Guard from 1993 to 2015, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. During the Iraq War, she served as the commanding officer of the 1168th Transportation Company in Kuwait and later commanded the 185th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion at Camp Dodge.

She spoke in support of Hegseth's recent comments.

"Honestly, I don't know why they trusted me, "said Ernst. 

"Under the strain of combat, women can experience psychological conditions including the vapors or the flibberty gibbets.  In extreme cases, these can prompt hallucinations or profound confusion in what is known as a 'Grassley moment'.

Ernst continued, "I know that my vote is a denial of my personal life history and accomplishments.

"Oh, well ..."
